Jon Stewart (2008). This was the second time when Jon Stewart hosted the Oscar. And in this time he looked like an old professional. Jon Stewart and his writers did a great job, the show was magnificent. But most memorable moment of this show is not so funny. The “Best song” award won “Falling Slowly” from Irish musical “Once”. This song was written by Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, and after Hansard’s made his speech, producers switched off the microphone, and Marketa could not say anything to public. But Jon Stewart, after the commercial break, paused the show and Marketa could finish her speech. And this speech was most sweetest and impassioned speech of the night.
