Cordage. Rope is pretty usefull if you find yourself in a survival situation. The best choice is parachute cord. It’s very lightweight, strong, takes up little space. You can make “paracord bracelet” from it, “sailor’s cross knot”, wound on your knife handle or do something else with it. Use release buckle with bracelet or cross and you can easy attach them to a strap on your pack or clothes. Uses are countless, as with the knife: you can hoisting food to keep away it from animals, build shelter, make splint for broken bones, climb somewhere, attach gear, make fishing line or trap for hunting and etc.
