The car was leased to Paramount Pictures for use in director Howard Hawkes’ cult classic film “Redline 7000”. Despite its racing birth, the car didn’t get a lot of screen time. What is also an intresting thing that it was one of the first examples of “product placement” – a form of subliminal advertising. But we loved it not because of that!
